SMEG, the Italian family-owned-and-operated appliance producer famed for fusing technology with style, has recruited Tony Lucio as it first Regional Sales Director for the Western United States, yet another indication of the brand’s growing popularity, and resource building to support its business plan.
Lucio is no stranger to the appliance business, and brings to SMEG more than three decades of solid kitchen, bath, and home industry expertise. Specifically, with regard to the appliance sector, Tony has previously represented Maytag, Sub-Zero / Wolf, and Viking. He is now poised to bring his veteran experience to SMEG as he oversees the brand throughout Western territories, which also includes the Pacific Northwest, the Intermountain States, as well as California, the Southwestern States, and Hawaii. “I am more than excited to join the SMEG team, and see the outstanding potential the brand’s aesthetics and technology bring to the market,” stated Tony Lucio. “The appliance business, more than most, is a relationship-driven and personal selling industry with many clients to serve.
