Pen K, Smeg's official partner in Thailand, leads the way in Bangkok
In 2012 Smeg distributor in Thailand, Pen K, opened a large showroom where design is the protagonist, a luxurious store where visitors can see, touch and feel the products.
A space of more than 500m2 arranged on 2 levels, the showroom displays over 200 appliances; built in and freestanding products including ovens, cookers, hobs, hoods, sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators and various taps. There are a wide range of distinctive and high quality of appliances which are presented by knowledgeable staff who know how to fulfill customers requirements.
The store is not just a showroom, Pen K have named it the “LIFE CENTER” where there are also demo kitchens displaying different installation techniques for each apppliance. It is designed so that visitors can experience the wide variety of products available and gain product details from the experienced advisors as well as information about installation and style.
The Pen K Life Center also includes a comfortable lounge area where kitchen decoration magazines are available to browse so that visitors can gain inspiration to create their own distinctive kitchens, and hot and cold drinks are offered free of charge, and free WI-FI is available. This makes it a perfect place for customers and professionals to meet consultants, interior designers or architects.
The Life Center also includes a classroom space where Pen K regularly hold cooking courses. The most recent was a cooking course for new Smeg customers who belong to the Smeg Thai fan club. They made Chocolate tarts and Banana chocolate mini muffins with the help of two famous young chefs - Chef Fin ('Finny the chef'), the owner of Bangkok’s Radi Cafè, and Chef 'P' from ‘In-the-box cafe' also situated in Bangkok. Both chef’s were Smeg customers before when they opened a bakery shop in the city.
The Pen K Life Center is a functional and refined space that is situated on Sukhumvit Road between soi 67 and 69, opposite Taisin Square Building. Visitors are advised to alight at BTS Phrakanong station exit 1, or park outside if arriving by car.
