Veuve Clicquot refrigerators by Smeg - design and innovation

In 2022, Smeg launched a new line of colourful fridges in partnership with Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the French Maison's 250th anniversary.

13 years after the first historic collaboration between Smeg and Veuve Clicquot in 2009, the two brands returned with a new special edition partnership to celebrate the first 250 years of the French Maison.

Following the great success of the first partnership, which included a limited edition customised Veuve Clicquot FAB28 fridge, the 2022 edition launched a special version of FAB28 and FAB10 fridges customised in the iconic Veuve Clicquot yellow colour, a concentrate of design and innovation that encapsulated the spirit of the two brands.

The collaboration also included another special product: 'The Clicquot fridge'. This champagne bottle pack, inspired by Smeg's iconic refrigerators and produced in yellow and pink, like the yellow label and cuvée Rosé bottles, perfectly embodied Smeg's unique and distinctive design and at the same time the creative spirit of the Maison.

A beautiful, functional object that kept any bottle cool for up to two hours, while at the same time being reusable as a design object after removing the special material inside.
