Sorrentina gnocchi

Soft gnocchi baked in tomato sauce with Parmesan and basil, topped with melted mozzarella. A classic Italian comfort dish, served hot and melty.

800 g Gnocchi
300 gr Tomato purée
6 g Finely chopped white onion
Basil, 4–5 leaves
250 ml Water
100 g Parmigiano Reggiano
5 g Salt
2 Mozzarellas

Finely chop an onion. Then place the gnocchi, tomato purée, onion, water and salt in a Pyrex dish. Mix well, then add the Parmesan and mix again.

Bake the gnocchi using the Gnocchi Smart Cooking function, following the cooking time suggested by the program.

Once cooked, add the mozzarella and return to the oven on the fan-assisted grill setting at 250°C for 3 minutes, or until nicely golden and bubbly.

Serve hot and melty!
