Once again, Dolce&Gabbana and SMEG have joined forces, creating “Sicily is My Love,” a fantastically-unique product line unmistakably Made in Italy: SMEG’s small appliances given the distinct Dolce&Gabbana flair.

Sicily is my love collection

From toasters to citrus juicers, blenders to stand mixers, all are decorated with the golden lemons, prickly pears, and red cherries common in Sicilian decorative art, framed in triangular motifs.  Through a special; process of reproduction of hand-painted original prototypes created by master Sicilian artists and craftsmen, each product retains every brush stroke and detail of the originals.

The small kitchen appliances tell the story of Sicily, a story essential to the aesthetic and soul of Dolce&Gabbana and its founders, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.  But they also tell the story of Sicilian cuisine, and, by extension, the cuisine of Italy itself, as interpreted by SMEG through its long experience in appliances and kitchen design.
