All the new ovens, thanks to a complete redesign, aspire to revolutionize the cooking experience in the home environment, bringing it closer to the professional world in all simplicity.

DESIGN

The unmistakable design of Smeg appliances embraces the new range of ovens. A 60 cm platform welcomes the multifunction oven which represents the spearhead of the Galileo universe: OMNICHEF. Five cooking levels are concealed by an elegant aesthetic which, in a single appliance, combines traditional cooking with steam and microwave cooking, for excellent results.

ONE OVEN, THREE TECHNOLOGIES

The Galileo OMNICHEF oven expresses the best of the new multicooking technology and allows you to combine three cooking technologies. The traditional to offer all the versatility necessary for daily preparations. Steam cooking, with a saturation level from 20% to 100% humidity, which allows you to enhance all the ingredients, maintaining their organoleptic properties and enhancing their aromas, flavors and textures. Finally, microwave cooking, which allows you to cook the ingredients by avoiding burning them, and producing a considerable time saving.

NEW COOKING APPROACHES

The Galileo OMNICHEF oven presents a new approach to cooking, aimed at obtaining results that match the professional kitchen in the home in all simplicity. For this purpose, it allows you to combine the three cooking technologies (traditional, steam and microwave) in two modes. In sequence with the Multistep function, or simultaneously with the Multitech function, in order to reduce cooking time by up to 70% and guarantee perfect cooking and juiciness of the food.

SMARTCOOKING

The OMNICHEF oven introduces automatic cooking into the home environment. The Smartcooking automatic cooking system offers 150 preset recipes. Simply choose a recipe, type in the weight of the ingredients in the oven and the oven will automatically decide the best cooking method.

WATERLOAD

Thanks to the Fill and Hide system it is possible to fill the tank at any time, even when the oven is closed during cooking. With a capacity of 2l, the tank allows you to cook up to 13 hours with 20% steam activation and up to 2 hours and 15 minutes with 100% steam activation, recharging it when needed.

SMEG CONNECT

The oven can be remotely monitored thanks to the SmegConnect app which allows you to communicate with the appliance and control its functionality via smartphone or tablet.
Alongside remote control there is a world of additional content: recipes, wines and a personal assistant that helps you to use your product efficiently and effectively.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Thanks to the combination of the three cooking technologies, it is possible to obtain energy savings of up to 25% compared to traditional cooking.

ACCESSORIES

The new generation maxi touch display allows you to select additional cooking functions that allow, thanks to the dedicated accessories, to explore new possibilities in the kitchen. The reversible BBQ tray allows you to cook meat, fish and vegetables in the best possible way. With the airfry tray it is possible to fry with a lower amount of cooking fat and the STONE refractory stone allows you to cook a crispy pizza in just 4 minutes.

NEW GENERATION DOOR

The OMNICHEF oven door is equipped with a soft and silent internal glass release system. The opening and closing of the door are quick and silent thanks to the soft open and soft close system.

LIGHTING

To ensure the best cooking experience, the OMNICHEF oven is equipped with multilevel LED lights, which allow perfect visibility of all shelves.

MULTISTEP

The multistep function enhances the ingredients on a professional level, making the dining experience unique and personal. The OMNICHEF oven is able to independently set the best combination of traditional, steam and microwave cooking

SAMETIME

The Sametime function allows you to prepare a complete menu, with different dishes ready at the same time. The oven will automatically indicate when is the best time to put each dish in the oven.

LOW TEMPERATURE COOKING

Low temperature cooking is a slow and delicate cooking method that allows you to obtain excellent results in cooking meat and fish. Thanks to the multipoint probe it is possible to monitor the temperature in three different points of the ingredient, from the heart to the surface, and cook until the desired value is reached.

DELTA T

Thanks to the presence of the multipoint probe, it is possible to set cooking without thermal stress. The increase in the temperature of the cavity, in fact, increases proportionally with respect to the temperature detected by the probe at the heart of the ingredient.
