Yes, you can. When on product pages look for the “Compare” option beneath the add to basket and delivery information on the right-hand side of the screen. Select the check box. This will add the product to the comparison list. You can compare a maximum of 4 products.

Can I see the technical specification?

I have seen a model on another website, can I order this?
You can reach out to us on [email protected] or 011 463 1016 and we can see if the product is available in SA as a special order. If not, we will not be able to bring it into SA.

Placing an Order

Can I order from outside South Africa?
Unfortunately, we do not accept orders that are placed from outside of South Africa.

Do you price match?
No, unfortunately we do not price match and would suggest shopping through your preferred retailer.

Can I order large appliances online?
No, unfortunately this function is not yet available.

What if the appliance is out of stock?
If the appliance is out of stock, please click the Where to Button to view stock availability at a retailer.

Can I order over the phone?
No, unfortunately you can only order online.

Can I order items online from the Outlet Store?
No, unfortunately this function is not yet available. You will only be able to order standard Smeg appliances online.

Paying for Items

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa Credit & Debit, Instant EFT, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Zapper.

Can I spread payments over 3 months?
No, unfortunately not.

Delivery

Do you deliver to anywhere in South Africa?
Yes, we can delivery to most areas in South Africa. Delivery may be delayed if you are in an outlying area.

Can you ship outside of South Africa?
Unfortunately, not, please click here to find the relevant Smeg subsidiary.

How much is delivery?
Delivery is currently free for all purchases on the Smeg South Africa website.

How quickly can my order be delivered?
Delivery times vary based on the items ordered and the location of delivery.

Estimated delivery times (if in stock & picked in the warehouse):
Small appliances approx. 3-7 working days, depending on location of delivery.

Once you have received your order confirmation, our trusted delivery partner RAM Couriers will be in touch. Speed of delivery will be dictated by your location, but you will always be offered the earliest available delivery date.

Can my appliance be connected?
No, unfortunately we are unable to connect appliances. You can reach out to our service department if you would like to confirm an authorized supplier.

Can I change my delivery date?
Yes. You can change the delivery address or date via the SMS the delivery team will send you once dispatched.

Can I arrange to have my delivery left in a safe place?
Unfortunately, not, your appliance must be handed to you to avoid your appliance getting damaged or stolen.

Can I track my order?
Once your order is out for delivery you can track this via the SMS sent from the courier.

Who will deliver my appliance?
RAM couriers will deliver your order. Please note RAM will NEVER ask for payment for outstanding shipping costs.

What happens if my appliance cannot be delivered?
The delivery company will either return the item to us or notify us of a failed delivery. We will then get in contact to rearrange the delivery with you.

Can I collect from the Showroom?
Yes, you can collect any order from one of our showrooms. A Smeg contact will be in touch with you when your purchase is ready for collection. You can reach out on 011 463 1016 or [email protected].

Will the delivery company take packaging away?
No, the delivery company will not remove any packaging.

After You've Ordered

Can I amend my order?
Depending on what stage your order is at we may be able to make some amendments.

Can I see the manual?
Yes, to get a copy of your manual please click here and enter the model number for your appliance.
 

Returns and Exchanges

I have changed my mind; can I return my order?
Yes, if you have had your products for fewer than 7 days. Contact us here.

If you haven’t used your appliance and still have the original packaging, we will refund you.

If you no longer have the packaging or have used your appliance there will be a handling fee related to returning your product, this could be up to 10% of purchase price + cost of any missing accessories.

The team will contact you directly to arrange collection of the unit and all accessories. Please package the unit sufficiently for transport. Once we’ve collected it you will receive your refund within 14 days, minus any charges.

If you’ve had your appliance for more than 7 days, we cannot offer to take it back or offer you a refund. Please contact us on 011 463 1016 or [email protected] and we will let u know what options are available.

Can I exchange my product?
If you need to exchange your product, please contact us on 011 463 1016 or [email protected] and we will let u know what the options are depending on usage of product. CPA and SMEG Warranty Terms and Conditions applies.

Can I return my order without proof of purchase?
If purchasing through the Smeg website, we would have a record of the order on our side which will act as proof of purchase.
Please note we are unable to facilitate any returns that were purchased through a retailer or where you do not have proof of purchase. These will have to be done through the retailer.

Warranty

What warranties do you offer?
Appliances purchased through our online stores are supplied with a 3-year guarantee on large appliances, 5-year warranty on Cookware and 2-year warranty on Small Appliances.
