KEARNY N.J., AUGUST 2025 - SMEG USA, the Italian appliance brand renowned for its iconic retro-styled, colorful small appliances and sleek, design forward large appliances, announced today the promotion of Mark Preli to Director of Sales, Major Appliances. Preli, who previously served as Regional Sales Manager, Northeast, brings more than 20 years of experience in the major appliance industry to his new role.

Preli began his career in the field performing service and installations, then transitioning into sales for a local Connecticut dealer before joining Dacor, where he served as District Manager for many years. During his tenure, he delivered the company’s largest growth on the East Coast and consistently ranked as one of Dacor’s top sales performers. He later joined LG and SKS as a Regional Manager, driving business growth for both brands through strategic dealer partnerships and relationship development.
Since joining SMEG USA, Preli has played a key role in dealer acquisition, product planning, managing the NECO Buying Group, and improving internal team processes. In his new position, he will oversee the sales strategy for SMEG USA’s major appliance category, further strengthening the brand’s market presence across the United States.
