Crisp and chocolatey, this is an easy recipe that the whole family can create, with an impressive finished result! Perfect for using up leftover Easter eggs.
Ingredients
- 150g unsalted butter
- 50g golden syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 400g dark chocolate
- 120g Milk chocolate
- 150g salted pretzels, broken into small pieces
- 100g shredded wheat, crushed
- 100g chocolate- raisins
- 100g salted peanuts
- chocolate eggs, for decoration

Gently heat the butter and golden syrup in a large saucepan. Then, add the vanilla extract and the chocolate.Stir until all of the ingredients are melted and combined.

Remove from the heat and stir in the pretzels, shredded wheat, raisins and nuts.

In a springform tin, spoon in the chocolate mixture. Use a spoon to press it up to the edges and create a well inside.

Chill for 1 hour.

Remove from tin and place a few extra pretzel pieces around to give a nest look. Fill the nest with chocolate eggs and enjoy!
