At the end of July the Grand Festival of Italy was held in Moscow Hermitage Garden. It was organized on the initiative of the National Tourism Agency of Italy (ENIT) with the support of the Department of Culture of Moscow and the Italian Embassy in Russia.

SMEG provided technical sponsorship to the festival, providing equipment for the culinary scene and installation for photo sessions with iconic FABs. At the end of July, the central garden in Moscow turned into a real corner of Italy. Creative zones, activities and installations from famous Italian brands acquainted citizens of the capital with all spheres of modern culture of Italy and reflected passion and creativity of Italian soul.

Many visitors came to the festival to taste delicious authentic food, as well as to learn the secrets of Italian cuisine. Therefore, Italian products and culinary workshops from famous chefs from this country had a great success. So, guests enjoyed the culinary performances by such well-known chefs as Maurizio Peccolo, chef at the Italian project Eataly, and Salvatore Burgo, chef at the "Italy" restaurant. All the chefs masterly prepared their culinary masterpieces thanks to the appliances provided by SMEG, Italian manufacturer and partner of the festival. They used the following equipment: Victoria oven and professional oven ALFA150, hobs and small domestic appliances. Enjoying the culinary performances, the guests of the festival were happy to take pictures against the backdrop of a bright SMEG’s photo zone – Dolce Vita. They also had an opportunity to find out more about SMEG small domestic appliances at the brand corner placed on the specialized Italian market.

The guests enjoyed the festival. A lot of colorful photos and videos were uploaded to social networks over the weekend. Even the Mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin in his micro-blog on Twitter recommended the citizens of Moscow to visit the festival of Italy. This was done by many stars who came to the Hermitage garden with their families and friends. According to official data, over 75 thousand people visited the event.
