Smeg first launched the Portofino range in 2017 with a 90cm single cavity range cooker and hoods to match. This was later followed by a spacious 70cm Portofino fridge freezer and most recently, an impressive 120cm double cavity cooker with mixed fuel hob.

This year, Smeg further extends the Portofino range by welcoming an additional new 90cm range cooker, this time offering two oven compartments for more flexible cooking. Now you can enjoy cooking much larger quantities of food with the option of using both cavities at the same time, perfect for special occasions such as entertaining family and friends.
This cooker is available with either a gas or induction hob top depending on your preference and comes in four popular colourways; stainless steel, white, black and anthracite. INSIDE THE OVEN

The large main 70 litre multifunction oven has a variety of cooking functions to choose from including circulaire which is ideal for multi-layered cooking and has no flavour transfer. This means that you can cook fish, root vegetables and delicate meringues all at the same time, on different levels in the oven, without any cross transference. The oven is equipped with 5 cooking levels for maximum flexibility, easy clean enamel interior to reduce dirt build up, and a number of accessories such as telescopic guides that allows easy access into the oven to safely check hot food, particularly useful when grilling. Keeping the oven clean is a breeze thanks to the Vapor Clean function which uses steam, generated by adding a small amount of water into the cavity, to loosen dried on dirt which can be quickly wiped away.

The smaller 35 litre secondary oven, with static cooking and grill function, is perfect for cooking a variety of dishes including slow baked cakes, casseroles, and pizza. The oven cavity features 4 cooking levels and an easy clean enamel interior.

There is also a handy storage drawer beneath the compartment for housing racks and trays when not in use.

Portofino cooker include large, solid, chunky metal control knobs, which are robust and extremely ergonomic.

TOUCH TIMER DISPLAY

The touch timer display guarantees simple functionality. It displays the time, sets programmed cooking and the timer.

EASY CLEAN ENAMEL INTERIOR

The enamel finish of the oven cavity has a special antacid lining which helps to reduce the amount of dirt adhering to the surface.

VAPOR CLEAN

The eco-friendly Vapor Clean function makes cleaning easy through the use of steam. Simply put a little water mixed with detergent into the hollow of the oven base to generate vapor and release burnt on food from the walls of the oven

Closed door grilling

Closed door grilling allows you to grill with the door closed, keeping cooking smells inside the oven and out of the kitchen to ensure a safe cooking environment and reduced energy consumption.

Some cooking enthusiasts prefer the visual element to cooking with gas and the instant heat is perfect for intense cooking. However, induction technology is now one of the most popular choices, due to the instant heat, low controllable simmer and cool to touch glass.

The gas hob features heavy-duty cast-iron pan stands and six burners, one of which is a powerful 4.2KW ultra-rapid burner, perfect for wok frying. Each burner has its own independent control ensuring maximum ease of use and professional results.

INDUCTION TOP

The induction hob guarantees perfect cooking in a simple and safe way. Five cooking zones ensure plenty of choice, with two of these zones having the option of combining to create a MultiZone, a single large cooking area. This flexible cooking area is ideal for large pots and pans. The Eco-Logic power management system on this hob top contributes to greater energy efficiency, with the possibility of limiting consumption from 7.4kW to 3.7 kW.
