Filter coffee

Filter coffee is obtained via percolation, as a result of the action of hot water, which, when poured over the ground coffee, captures its particles by force of gravity. A coffee to be sipped slowly to enjoy the aromas released by extraction.

30 g Coffee beans
500 ml Water

How do you want to cook the recipe?

Finely grind the coffee immediately before brewing. It is recommended to grind about 30 g of coffee beans per 500 ml of water.

Insert the filter into the filter basket of the coffee machine, then run it under hot water.

Insert the basket into the coffee machine and fill it with fresh water, then put the ground coffee into the filter.

Switch on the coffee machine, making sure that the coffee is thoroughly wet. If this is not the case, stir the coffee with a teaspoon.

Let the brewing process finish and serve the coffee piping hot in a glass or porcelain mug.

Grind coffee with the CGF11

Prepare ground coffee ready to brew your filter coffee. All you need to do is select the number of cups you want to brew and set the gind level indicator to either MEDIUM or COARSE.

Brew filter coffee with the DCF02

Fill the tank with fresh water without exceeding the indicated max. limit, keep the lid of the water tank raised and insert the permanent filter into the filter holder. Pour one level scoop of ground coffee per cup into the filter. 

Make sure the carafe is correctly positioned in the coffee machine and set the desired aroma intensity. 

Press ON/OFF button to activate the BREW mode. 

When the LED stops flashing, your filter coffee is ready. 

The KEEP WARM mode will keep the coffee piping hot for 40 minutes after brewing.
