80 ml Hot water
250 ml Milk

The origin of Matcha

Matcha Latte is a Japanese beverage that has quickly become popular in the Western world. Matcha tea is an ingredient that has many beneficial properties and when combined with milk foam is also incredibly flavoursome.

How do you want to cook the recipe?

Carefully dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of Matcha tea in hot water, using a teaspoon or a small kitchen whisk, preferably one that is not made of metal. Stir until the powder has been completely dissolved.

Whisk the milk until it froths thickly and is bubble-free.

Pour the milk foam into the Matcha tea.

Complete with a sprinkling of matcha tea powder to add flavour and a splash of colour.
