Hot ginger coffee

Hot ginger coffee is an inviting new twist on filter coffee. By adding lemon peel, cinnamon, and candied ginger, it is a perfect drink to warm up the coldest days.

Ingredients

Coffee beans, 4 scoops
1 tbsp Grated orange peel
1 tbsp Chopped candied ginger
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
6 cups Cold water

How do you want to cook the recipe?

Add the finely grated orange peel, ginger, and cinnamon to the ground coffee.

Insert the paper filter into the basket of the filter coffee machine, then run it under hot water.

Insert the filter basket into the coffee machine and fill the tank with fresh water.

Switch on the filter coffee machine and complete the brewing process. Serve the coffee piping hot in a glass or porcelain mug.

You can make your hot ginger coffee even yummier by garnishing your cup with whipped cream, orange peel and a stick of cinnamon.

Grind coffee with the CGF11

Prepare some ground coffee for your filter coffee using the CGF11 coffee grinder. All you need to do it select the number of cups you want to brew and set the grind level indicator to either MEDIUM or COARSE.

Brew hot ginger coffee with DCF02

Prepare your hot ginger coffee using the DCF02 filter coffee machine. Fill the tank with fresh water and insert the permanent filter into the filter holder, then pour the coffee and other ingredients into the filter and activate the BREW mode.
