Vanilla and strawberry jam

This simple recipe guides you through making a fresh strawberry jam with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

500 g Strawberries
210 g Sugar
3 g Lemon juice
½ Vanilla pod

Proceedings

Cut the strawberries into small pieces and mix with sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Place everything in a pyrex glass bowl. Set the oven in combi-microwave mode at 140° and 300 w. Bake for about 15 minutes.

Take out the bowl and choose blending for a smooth texture or stir vigorously with a wooden spoon to leave the compote in chunks.

Cool and store in the refrigerator.

Tips

Depending on the ripeness of the fruits and their water content, increase or decrease the cooking time.
